    Are cars vegan-friendly?

Leather isn’t the only issue with vegan-friendly cars. Entertainment system screens contain liquid crystals that may be based on cholesterol taken from animals.*The rubber and plastic used to make tyres may be vulcanised and toughened using tallow (mutton fat), and even the steel used for a car’s frame may have been lubricated with animal fat.*

Don't know...but what I can confidently say is that my 17 year old 4.6 V8 and I (as a package) is putting out less emissions than a serious meat eater driving a Prius Vegan......Vegan......Vegan......Vegan......Vegan.......

Seriously doubt that. Your dirty V8 vs a Prius. Not much difference in emissions between you and a vegan.

I haven't actually researched it, but I strongly suspect that a lot of the beef studies in terms of carbon footpint and especially water consumption are based on the heavily corn fed diets of US feed lot beef.
Australian grass fed, and even the six week grain fattened beef common to supermarket beef would show a lot lower water usage and carbon consumed than their US produced counterparts.

Why are so many people concerned with what others eat? Personally, I don't care if folk want to eat poo sandwiches, as long as they don't want to kiss me, afterwards.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Yes, it doesn't say what the beef were fed on.
Also, it uses national averages and we know Americans are into supersizing their diets, so Australian averages might be lower.
I also thought it was interesting that 60% was the same across all the diet types.
Another interesting point was that changing from beef to chicken caused such a big reduction.
I wonder what effect eating fish would have?

I think you're pretty safe there.
