    8x8 on Fraser Island

    You'd need deep pockets.

Deep pockets indeed to get it here, registered and running but these can found cheap in the US.

Comments are interesting... apparently had problems with the air system not allowing him to deflate the tyres. Must have used a few litres of diesel getting/ripping up that little pinch.

Could be done very cheaply here too , an old 4 axle all terrain crane can be had cheaply as no one wants them on jobs anymore, strip all the crane off and away you go

    8x8 on Fraser Island

I don’t like it to be honest. Tto me it just looks so clumsy and oversized.

Do we really need over paid arseholes with their oversized Trucks screwing up the tracks on that island?

Apparently it's only 8x8 in low range. Still, he did well to bog it ...

What is the make and model? Provenance? Power train? Likely North American as it has Hendrickson suspension front and rear. Big heavy thing. What a bugger to debog if it got properly stuck. Anyone on Fraser got a 20 ton dozer with wide track plates for hire?

Ex US Army Oskosh. Shouldn't be allowed on the island IMO.

Jason Whitcombe's awesome 8x8 Oshkosh on Fraser Island and playing around Ngkarla Rocks.
