On trivia, there is said to be a shortage of shipping containers. A shipping company has told a local company I was speaking to that a shortage of containers is delaying shipments by at least 2 weeks.
Same on this side of the Tasman. Delays but also the costs of containers is going crazy. I recently tried to buy a couple of 20-footers for storage. What was $4000 for a one-trip 20 footer pre-covid is now $8000 and the shortage is being blamed. Some B-grade containers on the market that would have been $1000-1500 pre-covid are now getting $3000-4000.Quote:
