Jeeeeeeeeezzzzuuuuuuzzzzz James, you have aged, mind you the Slouch( Hats, Khaki, Fur Felt) doesn't do you any favours. Oh I see, there is another image?

You must have been an hossifer (an Admiral perchance?), looking quite dapper & with your mate both wearing Regi, ties & no Tee Shirt like wot that other matey was wearing.

Traditionally it ****es down on the 25th in Adelaide but no such luck this year unfortunately.

I didn't attend any Dawn Service but thought a lot about my old Dad ( WO2 Army) & my 21 year old uncle ( SGT W.A.G. Lockheed Hudson. 13 Sqdn shot down in flames SE Asia. MIA) a few days after WW2 was declared. On those few days the whole Sqdn was nearly wiped out but who thought it was a good idea to give the Sqdn the # 13 title?

People who own a motor vehicle, under twelve months old, could find themselves underinsured, due to the sharp increase in new vehicle prices.
I know someone who recently took delivery of a new Rav Hybrid. He was offered $1,000 to not take delivery, or the same amount above what he paid for it, if he trades it back to the dealer before it's twelve months old. He ordered a new Rav when he took delivery.

Defenders are worth a lot more than fridges.

I'm looking at upping the insured value of my '93 'cruiser tilly. The prices for these have gone skywards!
Also, would it be worth asking if I can get a reduction on the premium, as I only do 2000-3000 km a year, with no peak hour or heavy traffic involved?

A 250-1 shot to win the Kentucky Derby, Rich Strike

250 to 1 odds horse toasts everyone?

Very cool or taken for a fool? I smell a rat perhaps. The run is amazing trivia either way

A 250-1 shot to win the Kentucky Derby, Rich Strike was sitting 17th with 40 seconds left in the race.

What happened next will be the stuff of racing legend.

Other trivia is the odds. Is it 80 to 1 or 250 to 1? Both are reported
