    i admit i dont know much about IOS, but what do they actually expect apple to do?

    it's already locked and to update it with a backdoor, it needs to be unlocked.

    Why the FBI can't unlock Apple's iPhone

    I think the FBI should just cut Apple out of the picture. The CIA could have the aliens unlock it, probably already have.
