The 80s- Fist time I heard A-Ha Take Me On was in Canada hunting submarines I think I heard it underwater on my Sonar as a guy on a submarine clearly liked it! The Sub had already suck us 10 times at least!

Obviously one for a Boy Scout to answer.

"20+knots". The number is 20+, the "+" is associated with the number, not the unit.

As you have eluded to in your post, knots are generally used as a wind speed measurement at sea.

Wind speeds over land are usually given as km/h but weather aficionados will also use m/s (metres per second).

Why? ..... I don't know.
