    I recall that, several years ago, there was a move to do away with the term "Homo Sapien" (Wise Man), as it could be construed to be derogatory toward "Homo Neanderthalensis" (Man from the Neander Valley).

    I wouldn't think so, 4bee, as the Neanderthal species died out 40,000 years ago and there are 'Knuckledraggers' in existence today, on this planet and still breeding.

    Contrary to the popular beliefs, Neanderthals are believed to have been quite intelligent and capable of speech, and to have created art, which places them higher on the evolutionary scale than some of the "Knuckledraggers" I have encountered.
