    Your lads also sent HMAS Australia to Heard Island in the 50's for a similar mission. A friend of mine was doing his National Service in the RAN & was part of the complement to go South I seem to recall it was for an Appendicitis case.

    As a blood donor for 40 odd years I am was not too guilty about taking a few back four years ago. A slice from a rotor blade or my favorite BRUCE might be a bit more of a drain on my internal supplies.

    Well, they seemed to copy your idea & now all ships (mostly) have an improved version. Maybe they don't carry all that Dunnage anymore? If I were you I'd be putting my hand out for a Monetary reward before it is too late Shipmate.

    Don't know about Germany but I was recently in the Netherlands and sighted an emu in some bloke's back yard. Looked to be more bored than aggressive.
