With a lot of people I've met with Arachnophobia and/or Ophidiophobia, their 'Phobias' turned out to be more 'Irrational Fears'.
Sit them down and talk them through a situation or two, or get them to approach and study the 'Malevolent' creature and they might ease up a bit on their hatred.
I've done this with people who would squash a spider, or run over a snake, just because they could. [bigsad]
I like seeing snakes and love sharks :) My mate who now refuses to swim/dive in the ocean disagrees after seeing Bruce a few time :)

"In a groundbreaking weather event, Saudi Arabia's Al-Jawf region has experienced its first-ever recorded snowfall, transforming the arid desert landscape into a breathtaking winter wonderland. This unprecedented phenomenon follows intense rain and hail storms that swept across the Kingdom."
I know some big tough and fearless boys and girls but a few of them are seriously arachnophobic. Some of them have had close calls with serious injury, possibly even death, trying to evade harmless spiders. I kid you not, I'd kill the poor things rather than have them spot one at a critical moment.
Who'd have thought it, a lie on the internet?
