My 2nd surgery was PITA INFECTION, Modern Medicine has its failures at times. Try a surgery 31000 years ago blew me away. WW1 butchery was in my mind reading this cool trivia.
Noted they did not have titanium at the time. The 31000 year olds Pelvis and mine would be similar with out lot of titanium plates and screws[biggrin]

Researchers were exploring the imposing Liang Tebo cave, known for its wall paintings dating back 40,000 years, when they came across the grave in 2020.
Although much of the skeleton was intact, it was missing its left foot and the lower part of its left leg. After examining the remains, the researchers concluded the bones were not missing and had not been lost in an accident – they had been carefully removed.

The last reported death from a roo might have been 1936. Many of us know the big hormonal bucks must be treated with care!

Doing 10,000 steps a day is good, but study shows walking fast is better
running works then[biggrin][biggrin][biggrin]
"Quibbles over the optimal daily step count for our health have come full circle, with the largest study to date on the subject suggesting that 10,000 a day is indeed the magic number. But, the way we move may be of equal importance, the researchers found."
"The widely held belief that it was 10,000 steps a day came, not from research, but a clearly successful 1960s marketing campaign for a pedometer, named Manpo-Kei (Manpo means 10,000 steps in Japanese)."
"That idea was seemingly debunked only last year, when multiple separate studies found that health benefits seemed to plateau or improve only marginally beyond 7000 to 8000 steps a day.
Now, two large studies published in JAMA on Tuesday, assert that 10,000 leads to the greatest reduction in risk of dementia, heart disease, cancer and death"
I did also hear your have 50% higher chance of two types of cancers IF your obese! What was not clear if it is the obesity or types of food eaten ! It is not always simple- DOH
Move it all- Do it your way of course [thumbsupbig]
So, 10,000 steps equates to about 8 kilometres. A nice little stroll.

I pity the NASA Cleaning & Sanitation Dept as I bet traveling Time & Mileage wasn't taken into their Maintenance Schedule so the lads may have to do that in their own Time & vehicles. Penalty Rates would apply I think.
