My weather station gives me the choice of using knots, km/h or m/s. The button to change the unit used on the screen is quite prone to pushing, when dusting, apparently. This has caused me some confusion once or twice. [bighmmm][biggrin]

You're thinking of hoi polloi koi which are carp owned by plebs.

Reminds me of some of the expressions used by the cockies and bushies of Montumana to describe wind.

e.g., zephyr ( good at hay time )
blow the dog off his chain ( bad at hay time or falling trees )
blow the milk outa yer tea
crows flying backwards
nice little breeze today... ( of a strength enough to topple the Nut )
blow the words clean outa the missus’ mouth... as a mere stripling , did not know if this was good or bad.

They are 9.5mm?
The normal standard ones are generally 6.5mm,from memory.

The ones we use at work have no insulation on them.[bighmmm]
