I'm interested in whats in Australian Olive Oil.
I buy it in the 3lt cans but its not a common grocery Item and have been aware of a hefty price as I only buy 1 or 2 a year. Couple of days ago, I had to get another can.
First I couldnt get the brand I have been buying for some time (squeaky gate) good name huh? The cheapest alternative was $60 and the prices went up as I scanned along the shelves.
Even the seed oils are expensive, but I dont use them. Next purchase might be interesting.

I established a home plant , that to my knowledge , no one has ever tried to copy.
The end of this fascinating business occurred , believe me , because of demand.
The demand for redclaw was so large locally , nationally and internationally that to meet the local , vis Gold Coast restuarants , clubs and fishos etc, that just to meet request for product , I was needing to expand my production by initially 100x. I was then producing 5kg/wk for a small restaurant.
I consulted the Gold Coast Council for advice and they were very helpful. I went to an Aquaculture Expo and met up with a business consultant and swapped business cards with hundreds of interested parties.
The business consultant and I had lengthy telephone conversations resulting in him offering to bring a third party in as a silent investor and suggesting that "we".....forget small investment say $5m and shoot big around $20m to set up and meet the requests that were coming in.
The follow-on from here was going to be huge and without getting too involved ended at this point. I am very knowledgeable on Redclaw and knew a few farmers up north as I bought live stock from them when I needed extra.
