    Really? A "Hi-So" girl has no reason to do that. She already drives a Merc and lives in some penthouse apartment provided by her rich father.

    What you are referring to is a "Mia Noi", or "minor wife". They are mostly girls from the provinces trying to get an education that their rice farmer parents have no hope of providing.
