tap water might be contaminated with a deadly brain-eating microbe

Residents of Lake Jackson, Texas, have been urged not to use tap water because it might be contaminated with a deadly brain-eating microbe.
The local water authority warned of the potential contamination of its supply to the town - home to about 27,000 people - by Naegleria fowleri.
The amoeba typically infects people when contaminated water enters the body through the nose. It is usually fatal.

Trivia perhaps. Biggest smoke was HMAS Vampire now a muesum in Sydney. An OIL Burner- She blew soot every several hours. The Skipper always made sure no nice new DDGs or even the DEs or the odd shiny FFG were down wind and that we had a good breeze blowing aft.

This is HMS Ariadne to give you an idea why a mere 'DE' Vamps was a DD

But why? Idle mixture screw needs attention, flue bunged up, testing of Smoke Screen Injector?

Re the group on the right. Why would the 2nd bloke in have his hands on two other's arses? No, don't tell me, it's a thing Sailors do roight?

EDIT. I guess the Smokescreen is old hat these days with RADAR being able to see through smoke.
