My mate told me that it was about the perception of weight (and to a lesser extent, volume) equating to value. Was based on market research back in the day.

He and I used to do that too............... most 'memorable' job was about canned lambs tongues, couldn't start an interview until you found someone in a shopping centre who bought them.

We averaged maybe one or two actual legit interviews a day each. Luckily got paid by the hour.

Personally I like canned lamb tongues; but I have not seen any for many years.

    Wild in Wales

Goats who used to be owned BUTT the councill cannot move them Wales seems a lot like some aspects of my local Council
A pair of fighting goats blocked off the entrance to a supermarket car park.

A herd of Great Orme goats were seen at Asda in Llandudno, Conwy county, with one pair locking horns at the traffic lights.

Nurse Michelle Evans, who saw them, said: "They were having a right scrap and making a heck of a noise. It sounded like one was hurt."

Conwy council said it could not remove the goats as they were on private property.

A goat curry anyone? Problem I would help with IF photos not taken Running down goats is rather easy.

They're still there, or their descendants are.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

The running was not in the truck John Goats and sheep get both hot and puffed inside 5km if pushed hard. The pig stickers do it on 2 legs but use dogs to hold them

I did take a goat to Ikara ranges and tossed it in a pot in my RIP gold Disco. It was sort of a major talking point for the whole Wilpena pound camp site. It was so bloody windy that despite four hours over the fire the leg was still far to rare even for me who doesn't mind a very bloody steak Ok I shot that one
