Bloody dumb most of those goats, down one and the rest in the group often stand around looking as if to say what just happened?

The Grandkids of the owners next door round them up on their trail bikes, and get them into one paddock, hoping to sell them.
Usually during the next couple of days, they escape, and the kids are off looking for them again.
Anyway, keeps them busy when they are on holidays from boarding school.

I did take a goat to Ikara ranges and tossed it in a pot in my RIP gold Disco. It was sort of a major talking point for the whole Wilpena pound camp site. It was so bloody windy that despite four hours over the fire the leg was still far to rare even for me who doesn't mind a very bloody steak Ok I shot that one

That would have made it much more tender, unless Rigor Mortis had set in.

Oh dear, getting down in the dumps are we? FWIW, it ****s me off as well @ 85 but as my Sparkie used to say when summat seemed insurmountable "Wot can yer do Des, What can you do?"

I bet you are whizz on the Dance floor though Paul? I can just imagine those shiny Patent Leather pumps flashing in reflected light from the Disco Ball on the ceiling.

You have had a "hard" Fridgie life like me, although different, & now it is time to have a rest from all that crap & let your young 'uns carry the load. It will be their turn to have a moan one day. You can step back & offer advice.
    . I gave it away in 2000 & bought a Laptop instead.
Now on my 3rd poot & spend more time than is good for me online, & being semi- remote is good to swap bull**** with like minded, dare I say, friends, who I will probably never meet but feel I know many of this bunch here in one form or another.? I certainly have a lot of laughs.

But Paul this Covid crap hasn't helped & a lot of personal contact which I was used to, has faded away & the world has become a bit of an odd place these days for most of us.

    What can you do?

I’ve seen plenty travelling north in WA, never seen a dead one on the side of the road
I’ve had goats for 15 years, never hit one, nor has any visitor to my property

Western Power visited my property as the pole snapped with a transformer on top
(Reported 4 times that pole didn’t look in good condition)
They managed to run over a goat (somehow)
No compensation as they “weren’t negligent”☹️

A Jogger at 250m? Sorry, a Porker. Just as well you are not down Sth/W Victoria way or Diver's life may be short lived. Naaaaah, he would have speed on his side especially if he noticed the glint of the barrel or the telescopic sight.l.

A Mamil would make an easy target with all their brightly colored togs though, & it would be a shame to find scorch marks or pellet holes in them.

EDIT. No Joggers were harmed in the making of this post.
