Ticks have been accepted as a yes in referendums and crosses rated as informal for many decades in referendums. The reason crosses are not accepted is that some forms accept any mark as a positive response. This has been accepted electoral law for decades, which means you need to have a real love of conspiracy to find that it means the AEC is not independent.

    24 km break down

Melbourne Marathon today after the 220km bike ride last week. Calf tear on Wednesday was small. Physio seen Thursday thought it might last 42.2km. It was good to 24 which I note is 42 backwards
The Twang was clear and my unscheduled stop at 24km mark was painful as I did not get to the MCG for the first time!

My very first Did Not Finish or should I claim a half Marathon 21.2? Other Trivia is as I did not run so far I got tomatoes, Corn, basil and other veggies planted

Then it’s a shame that the AEC spokesman didn’t say that when questioned. Which he was.

    Just not cricket?

Poms crying today? Not trivial for Afghanistan cricket. Well done to that crew.

Yep. I'll own up to having a giggle, or two, while watching. I'm also struggling with our Aussie team at the moment, who apparently have been offered 'Counselling' by the Australian Cricket Assoc. after the referendum result! Makes you wonder if some have the need for a protector.

Not being a Medico by a very long shot my diagnosis it that you buggered yourself up whilst running backwards. That'll be 50 bucks please. Kerching.

If you think that is expensive you wait until you need to call me on a Telephone Consult.

Did you get those Veggies after they were thrown at you. Tomatoes I can understand but the rest would have drifted away in the fresh air. Well maybe not the Corn.

It could have been much worse, it could have been beaten by the Afghani Women's Team. Every losing team needs a Councillor or someone to pat them on the back & wipe their eyes & maybe send them off the kid's Sandpit. until they stop crying.
A Protector you say? They could have borrowed one or two from the said women's team who have no use for them.

EDIT, When Cameron's Brexit Plan failed in the UK he had the courtesy to resign. What now albo?
