    Well it's been 2 months since we had out vehicle in for it's service & have called them five times since then asking if the tail lights are going to be replaced under warranty & have not had a call back to say yes or no. I went the the dealer this morning to ask what is going on . The service manager said the clam had been rejected & the damage was done by impact . I asked him to show me wear the impact was but he could not find any.
    When I got home I rang the car brand customer care line to ask why the clam was rejected only to be told they had never received a clam . I have now sent photo's of the tail lights & they said they will ring me back in the next 3 days.

    This is the same dealer who told me the vehicle needed front tyres & should not be driven but when I went to my local tyre dealer was told there was nothing wrong with the tyres & they are only 1/2 worn. Grrrrrrrrrrr

    In reply to the Header question. No, of course you can't as you have just proven for yourself. It is obvious that they never put a claim in so how in the hell could they reject it if they hadn't even seen the images.

    Most dealer networks suk. IMHO.

    BTW, have you ever seen a pooooorr dealer principal? No? Not surprised.

    The local Jeep dealer just closed down, but I'm not surprised. It's a Jeep thing.

    Back in the day when I worked as Service Manager for BMC , Leyland & JRA there was np profit on parts fitted under warranty & we only got payed a % of the labour so only proffits were when dealer sold the vehicle ,serviceing & non warranty repairs . I would say is the same now & that is why they need to sell you extrs service work such as throttle body & inlet manifold clean while your vehicle is in for it's fixed rate service.
