I have seen that first hand. One of the guys at my gym has gone fully head first into the whole Q-Anon thing and has lost quite a few friends over it.

I don't have any childhood friends - I can only remember the name of one and I haven't seen him since 1964. I went to too many schools when my father moved from one engineering job to the next.
