From the carpark to the restaurant.... As you can see parking is very easy and the walk to the "dining area" is a pleasant way to work up an appetite. I took an aerial view of the premises after dining. I was seated at the far right - second last photo. I took a photo of an adjoining premises (last photo) which I also frequent and indeed I have overnighted here. Funnily enough I managed to get a table with a view without too much bother. I did have to don my hat and coat as I think there was a slight problem with the air conditioning unit, rendering the premises a tad "chilly"!
Next time you are out with the wife or partner for a meal, perhaps to make up for some slight misdemeanour or even to have something in the bank for your next oneand she says it was lovely but it was a bit of a walk from the carpark. Just grin and think how much longer the walk would have been if you'd gone to Spudfan's favourite establishment!

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
And probably a little wetter too. We had some recent heavy rain (hard to believe I know) which is why the water in the streams and the lake is brown. It comes off the heights through and over the peat cover which stains it brown. It does not bother me as I still drank it when necessary during the walk. It may not be labelled like the "beneficial"stuff that the powers that be put in my drinking water but it is natures way of filtering it. I always scooped it from a fast flowing place. If you look carefully at the lake photo where I am dining you can see the brown colour in it.
