When looking at the "Current Bushfires" site, the question has to be asked as to how some fires started.

Our friends live near The Summit on a bush block. He was out fighting the fires until 6am this morning. We could see the glow getting closer and by midnight we could sleep easier. At 6 this morning as far as my mate knew there was no property loses, although there were some damaged houses but they were saved......including his parents, quite an amazing story he told us on just how close it nearly went up in smoke. His parents are away, he didnt get a chance to see if there was any heat damage as he had to race to the next property.
