I think the TD5 would be happier with the Gulf Western.
Is it available in a TD5 spec?

They do have recommendations.
Not the one posted by OP, but have a peek at their website, they list two oils for Td5.
Synx-6000 5w40 and Euro Energy 5w30.

With a proven performance in the TD5 especially around Cam wear and injector lobe wear I’d stick with the Penrite.

Even The Mobil 1 stuff doesn’t match the performance.

You should be able to buy Penrite cheap this weekend with Bathurst on Supercrap always have big sale Bathurst weekend.
