G'day folks ...
A gazillion years ago, the enlightened states disposed of the requirement to list tare, aggregate and gross weight on the r/h side of a vehicle like a S3 109. I heard today that WA still requires it - anyone know?

I am not sure but I believe anything over 5 tonne has to display these numbers in WA. May have changed again since. It used to be all commercial vehicles years ago inc panel vans etc. I know it was common for my mates hotted up van to get a yellow sticker for not displaying them on the drivers side of the vehicle. Fortuanately most cops were reasonable and did not enforce it.

1999-2000 a lot of the road rules went national..hence you can see U turns at traffic lights in WA where it is legal..before 1999 big ticket itemmaybe other regs went National aswell.
I know that its still required on trailers and the such, but on all my series utes and even the 130 I had none of them had this.
Our work ute does not have the TAG on it so I would say no.
