I think I get your point, now. Not living in an AFL state, you don't get how much the game controls peoples lives. I missed out on all the paper talk about this, and was just curious if that article was true. Sorry I posted it now.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Huh??? Victoria isn't an AFL State?

Don't be sorry about posting it, same as I'm not sorry for posting my reply. There are several different points of view on this subject - I fall on the 'I don't give a **** any more as it's been years - build a bridge and get over it' camp.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Not sure if you are being disingenuous or not. Or perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I don't live in an AFL state. Any way, it's obvious the subject has some passionate advocates. As viewed from afar, it's almost an unhealthy obsession.

John - I actually agree with you to a point. I think that the Essendon staff pressured the players.

But as I said - some of the players had the balls to stand up to the club.

Those players clearly weren’t happy with the non disclosure agreement, having numerous injections, and having it done away in secret..

As Homestar says - not only has the horse bolted, but it’s since retired so who gives a ****!

Not being disingenuous at all, it’s just my point of view on the subject. All good mate. Was the Essendon supplements saga a stichup?

Agreed - where I grew up literally nothing was more important than Aussie Rules, which is one of the reasons I switched to Union.

Having said that, there is temporary insanity up our way State of Origin time, but I understand where that came from.
