    MoveLater2 Mini Muscle Cars

The engineering behind these is amazing. The XB coupe (and a HQ coupe soon) are about 80% scale of the real thing. Full space frame, custom transaxle, full fibreglass shell and the beating heart of a 4.0lts Rover motor.

Thanks for sharing Mini Muscle Cars

Aussie icon with a US derived motor,
Made into a scaled icon with a Pommy motor derived from a US motor.

    Works for me.

I would have gone for a bigger capacity & higher horsepower engine. Four litres no longer cuts the mustard. My choice would be one of the aluminium Nascar or sprint car small V8's. Whether Chev, Ford, Chrysler. I saw a Mopar Performance aluminium LA engine for a sprint car on the dyno at Stu. Van Dyne's shop in Huntington Beach. Quite impressive. Tres. Van Dyne told me they can be set up for 800 to 900 horsepower subject to owner/crew chief's courage.

A bit over the top IMHO (HP & $$) considering they are probably targeting a reasonable budget in a controlled class.

No hand made race car is going to be cheap. Give it some horsepower. Those US engines are available off the shelf at very reasonable prices. By the way, you do realise "controlled class' means creative cheating.
