It's okay, we've got plenty of clouds up here, so we'll send some down your way.

So, what can I glean from this?
That the BOM don't know what their talking about or, there are experts out there that we hoi polloi don't know about?
Seems to depend where we are. Forecast is up to 150mm on the Sunshine Coast, 100mm in Brisbane and lower amounts inland.

Evidence of rain all the way to the Curry. It's still 35C outside at midnight.

Keep an eye out for my brother, Ian. He's out that way. He normally stops in for a Coke at the Middleton on his way to Boulia.

There is another cyclone brewing up in the NW so the Eastern states should get some usefull falls out of it.
Unfortunately here in the Midwest we usually only get hot SW winds and SFA rain from these events

7.87 mm to midnight and 0.51 mm to 0830. A good, steady drizzle.
We may get another 5-10 mm today.

The 50-80 mm predicted by the BOM and even the 100-200 predicted by "Others', would ave been great for our dam but going by other's plights here, I'm definitely happy with this lot of rain.
