Just managed to get the grass mowed yesterday before it started raining again. It had grown around 150 mm in the last week. Think it is time to service the mower looks like it is going to get a lot of work.

Looking at the forecast tonight however, I think I will put my planned trip to town tomorrow off until Wednesday at least. Tomorrow they are promising 90% chance of 20-45mm. Mind you, today there was 85% chance of 10-20mm and we have got less than 5mm since midnight. And it doesn't look like there is any on the way for the next few hours.
Maleny has had 120mm since 9am I see. I am in Lismore where it has been raining heavily for several hours. So that rain is heading your way. Enjoy.

100 mm over the Stanthorpe dam catchment area, 2and 1/2 years of water in the Warwick dam. Some flood damage, but, no pain, no gain.

I see some places have had more rain in a couple of days than in the whole of 2019.
There is a cyclone out off Lord Howe Island too.

If it is raining heavily in Lismore then get out of Lismore before the flood comes down the rivers.

Thanks, but too late. The causeway to the BIL's property has already gone under twice for periods since we arrived. They're stuck with us.
Maleny had over 200mm in 24 hours and parts of the Sunshine Coast flooded, with a nursing home evacuated.
We had planned to move on to visit friends near Coffs, but they are also flooded.
Plus the camper is wet and needs to dry before we fold it up. And we have to fix a water leak.

I managed to get into the village today to get the mail. River is about a metre below the bridge, and running very strongly.

Looking at the radar suggests that it is going to rain pretty soon! And possibly more to the point, it is raining upstream already!
