12mm overnight and my tanks are now just about full
As the forecast for Thursday/Friday is 25-45mm and 5-15mm I have drained the house tank and cleaned out the frogs/silt and put mesh on the downpipes so that the little blighters don't come back.
Personally it didn't bother me that there were a few frogs in there But Her indoors spat the dummy when I told here they were there So it was either the frogs go or the missus goes, I hope I made the right choice

Think I put this in the wrong spot. Climate outlook for the North in july.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

Nice, Trout. Good to see you're getting decent rain. We're pretty dry here at the moment but tanks are still good. Annoying strong NW winds that are drying things out even more.

No rain here in Westlake , tanks are empty & the wind is coming from the west so no chance of rain.

Now the third day of sunshine - batteries fully recovered, tanks full, dam almost full. Creek crossing not too bad, no serious erosion seen in a look over yesterday.

It has been dry for the last week or so and some of the crops were looking pretty "Thirsty", We have had a few showers today 3-4ml and some more due overnight which is bloody welcome

Some decent falls are forecast for next weekend So we are hoping that they pan out OK

Supposed to rain again on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. With the ground as wet as it is, I won't be going anywhere for a few days after that! All tanks are just about full, dam is full, water seeping out of the ground in a number of places. I'll pump some water up to fill the header tank today, but the main tanks will still overflow if the amount forecast happens.

well we did get rain but it always ends up being 100mm overnighht which runs off everywhere instead of soaking in.

we had that much last week but the moistures gone and the ground is greying off already.

it did save my tomatoes and pumpkins though.
