Many years ago if I was stationary I started turning around and blowing them a kiss rather than the finger. That seems to step up the red mist several notches and is often amusing (for me anyway). That might or might not have had something to do with me being arrested in Oman for giving the finger to a Nissan sunny full of locals, though that's another story entirely and I was driving an Outlander, so not appropriate for this forum.

Drive like the locals. Was it n Rome snd attempting to cross a dual carriage way from a standing start. Gap appeared and was cut off by a car that sped up and changed lanes. Nothing unusual for the roads around there. The image that is still vibrant in the brain is that there was arm arm pointing vertically from each of the four windows. At the top of each arm was a hand with the middle finger extended. OK so this too while unusual not outside realms of normal road behavior. What did strike me was that each of the four occupants was a full garb Nuns all with bug grins on their faces

I hope the "nuns" were gong to a fancy dress party.

I love driving in Europe, especially the bigger cities, with lots of traffic. If we were in quiet, stationary traffic for more than 30 seconds, I would blow the horn a couple of times and wait for the 'Domino Effect', much to the chagrin of my wife.
    I just couldn't help myself!

Pitty that isn’t done here,it could get some of the fools moving, particularly the ones that love to slam on the brakes for some silly reason when there is no need to do so.

Yep! someone doing 95, sees a cop or camera and slams on the brakes. Happens repetitively at the fixed camera at Burpengary weighbridge.

Yep,even on the M1,the ****wits slow down to 80,in the 100 zone.

I don’t hesitate to blast the horn,in my younger days,my service vans always had air horns, that sorted them

I don’t think they are available these days, probably some rule about them I am guessing

Heaps still available, Paul. You may get a fleet discount.

We have a large metro police station near where I work and they need to drive past us to get to the freeway. Many times the police sit in the left lane driving at 50 or 55kph (in a 60 zone) and nearly every single time the car in the right hand lane slows down to match the police cars speed, or there is a mass build up behind them. I'm sure they must do it for ****s and giggles. I just drive past them doing 60 and carry on my merry way. Makes me laugh every time.

That sounds like a ruse to get drivers to overtake at above the limit. Cops wouldn't do that, would they?

They'd have something in their book to grab you on. Bastards!
