Make sure you phone them first to let them know you is coming otherwise you may get Tasered as you walk in the door.

Oh, hang about, you ain't on a walking frame or a million years of age are you?

    Hahaha

Walked plenty of them into local station. Always greeted with “what did you get this time?” and an eagerness to look it over.

As for Granny Steak Knife, not a good outcome for anyone, however, if this was a slow moving 40yo would anyone have had the same reaction? I take it the staff couldn’t control her, couldn’t lower the risk level and eventually the event occurred.

Mind you, if I was 95 and loopy - zapped and passing away would be a relief.

The nursing home staff obviously need more training, as does the hero who tazered her.
She was very slow and on a walking frame! Why not shut the door and leave her alone in her own room?
The cop has now been charged with grievous bodily harm.

Ah, the olde GBH of Arthur Daly fame?. You'd think a Senior Constable would have the edge on some young recruit, with common sense. Maybe now the assistant Commissioner will have a look at the Vid. footage.

The body cam footage doesn’t need to be made public, however, as some seem to be calling for.

Fair enough RH,but I didn't imply that it should, just that being in her position as a Commissioner you'd think for her own interest she would like to see what all the fuss was about seeing how the SC could be looking at charges.
Too late, he is up the Swanee without a paddle.

I actually had a curious young fox come up to me when I was sitting quietly stalking some rabbits with that airgun and press itself up against the muzzle. I didn't pull the trigger because I wasn't sure that it'd be a clean kill. But young foxes really are ... young.
