It is funny & coincidental that you mention "DUMP".

Just on the blower a minute or two b4 I read your post.

Got a massive (to me) rubbish skip in I had it for 8 days Special offer. They were quite insistent that it would be collected today so I arranged helpers to make sure it was. Guess wot? 1355 h & it still is here.

Guaranteed now it will be gone & have a Steel/metals only skip arriving at 0630 tomorrow so fortunately the yard is big enough for 2 skips but could be a bit tight with the size of their rigs + Maneuvering. Anyway will see what the morrow brings.
it made my heart bleed considering the stuff I had to put in their skip 3 x Brushcutters/whippersnippers ETC ETC Son in law did a too good a job when my back was turned & threw out some special Pipe spanners (Fridgie stuff) Air comp Air line & I hate to think there is more stuff remaining concealed. No, I ain't going to sort it again.

I thought 2 Battery chargers had gone but they were eventually found in what was an old empty metal Tool box. Pheeeeeewwww!

Still a good move though as you can't take it with you, well you can try but my stuff wouldn't burn too well if at all. I don't think St Peter at the Golden Gate would take too kindly to me rocking up cluttering up his gaff with my junk.

"On yer bike sunshine" I can hear him saying.

What do they use in lieu?

For want of a better description, an " Open ended Ringie" don't know the brand name but Tough & Shiny they be.
Good for someone even me to keep, as I am finding it a bit difficult to let some stuff go.
1/4" Flare to 3/4" Flare. I may be reincarnated as a PBD Inspector one day,who knows? I did say "may".
How they hangin' Paul a longtime since we conversed. All ok?

Yes mine will probably sit in the shed together with a heap of tools for another 20yrs or so,if i am around for that long, then get sold on Gumtree or tossed out.Although the boys will probably go through them before then, hopefully.

No worries here, just trying to put up with the cold, and still hanging around at work hoping for the arse.

Just thinking today,i lit the oxy for about the first time in 12 months....Still got it going well, showed the young guy that i still know how to cut bearings off a 45mm shaft

For soldering they are lazy, use those little oxy/LPG disposable canister sets, they are actually not bad,do up to around 13/8 pipe,as long as it isn't 410a rated. But way more expensive than the old sets we used to use.

    Anyway,you going all OK?

    Yes thanks. All ok still.

JEEZUZ! I never thought you were one of those pansy blokes. I hope it comes along for you then.

I think I may have a problem though. Have got a couple of D size oxy & acet bottles Just discovered in a corner from my clean up. As I recall, they were handed to me with no paperwork from you know who yonks ago & I can't decide what I can do with them. Both MT. Do I toss them in the dam, return them to YKwho & risk a 20 Million $ hire. Drop them in the metal skip that ARRIVED AT SPOGGY Fart this a.m. or just ignore them & hope the go of their own accord? This is the trouble with cleaning out sheds, you find stuff you shouldn't or wish you hadn't.

Skip due back in one week so I have plenty of time to sort this I suppose..

Like my mate recently did with an old Chinese Air Rifle he found in all his fathers junk a while back.
He accidently dropped it off the jetty into the Canal.
Or with the valves open, just put them in the skip.If you can be bothered, there is probably a gas bottle drop off at the dump.

Ask CIG/BOC to come and collect the bottles left behind by a previous resident.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Why? Under the amnesty just take gun to police and hand over. No questions asked.

It may be an old sluggy but may be found at some point.
