I'm glad you posted this, ND. Feedlot, grain fed is red rag to a bull ( pun?) to me. The grain they feed them is actually terrible, and they can't feed it directly to us as we can't digest it. They also fill the feed with hormones and antibiotics, which pass straight through and wind up in our "food", which is just fantastic for someone, like me, with a hormone sensitive cancer. It's hard enough finding guaranteed pasture fed beef, and I simply cannot eat chicken or pork, regardless of what's on the label, because of the drugs they are fed. And don't mention "organic". These days, if I have to read the fine print on a label I won't touch it. They don't care, of course, as long as it makes $$$
