For some it's not that easy. Up until my mum felt the 'Big Eraser' we had to have a landline. We are still in the same position, as the person who shares the property with us, has the same situation.

I have to say that, as I'm home on my Pat Malone for a lot and don't have many friends, I do enjoy receiving a phone call from someone, so as to have a chat.

A landline for safety alert monitoring is good. And doesn’t need a handset in many cases

I’m sick of people knocking on my door looking for donations ....just had a woman from the sperm bank .....boy did I give her a mouthful
