I didn't know Mick-Kelly was an option. I thought it was only male or female.

Mine comes from HMS Hotspur, not the English soccer team Tottingham Hotspur. Hotspur was a British Navy 36 gun fifth rate commisissioned in 1810, the first of four to bear the name. It was also used as the name of the Horatio Hornblower's first ship in the series by C. S. Forester. I love maritime history and have always used the name on every forum I have been on.

On a previous RR forum that I used I used my full first name and surname "John Fry," until they banned me making posts--not sure why, but had a post deleted which may have offended a moderator but would not have offended most forum users. At the time I joined that Forum I was new to the Internet and did not know most people used pseudonyms. My wife would not liked me to have called myself "incredable sexy beast," Just kidding, Johnf.

Perhaps I should of added to the above post that I know of a critical religious magazine that I read called "Anchor," attacking Liberalism in my denomination. It was first published anomoniously by an elderly man, Hilton Myers. But some who did not like it, blaimed an old Biology school teacher of mine from when I was in high school between 1961 and 1964, a man named Colin Wilson the liberals saying that Wilson was the publisher when Mr. Wilson had nothing to do with it, the liberals in my Protestant denomination thinking that Mr. Wison was the anomious author of this Anchor magazine. So after that I felt that I should identify myself so as no one else can get blaimed for anything that I write, even though I was not involved in the Anchor magazine. I have normally done this, hence on the Range Rover forum I was previously in I used my name "John Fry." Went to another forum--was surfing a fibreglass Canoe Polo Kayak in the Surf until it had too many patches, so went to Surf Kayak forums, etc. And one of them already had a "Johnfry" registered, so I started to use Johnf which I then used on this forum. I do write controversial religious material, which could offend some people who do not want to think things through, but strongly do not want someone else to be blaimed for anything that I write, so try to always use my own name. I have not mentioned my Protestant beliefs on this Forum as it is not a religious forum--You will have to contact me by e-mail if you want to know why my beliefs are so controversial, as I will not mention much on this forum.

I am glad you posted in this thread. I have often wondered as the name just sounds a tad dodgey to me, I could imagine someone in a sexual health clinic complaining about a discharge and being informed they have a nasty case
    of the old Ho Har
