It's a concatenation of the first two letters of my first-middle-surname + an "r" at the end to make it easier to pronounce.

From my teenage days in the ring - an old German bloke said to my trainer 'he is like blitzkrieg'

And it's a bloody sight easier for Australians to pronounce than my real name Blythe which is pronounced Bl eye the.

If anyone can remember the johnny cash song Sue, Blythe works just as well.

    I don't like shoes

Pic is because I am proud to have spent a number of years patrolling FNQ in a Truck, Lightweight, Reconnaisance, MC2, with winch. It is also a goal to have my own RFSV when they become available, then add a VNT and Truetrac. Nothing left then, the best setup you can have.

a bloke called George Lucas released a movie in 1977. It was targeted at 8yo boys.

    I was an 8yo boy.

The following two seemed to be aimed at my age group also.

By the time the last three came out the damage was already done and Id been called jedimastermat for twenty odd years. Even my Mum, who I believe may have started it, still calls me Jedimaster.

it gets a laugh when you go for a job interview. Its great when someone asks for your email and you ask for a pen. Its even better when they look and have no idea.

The stranger thing is I'm a bigger Lord of the Rings nut. I have much more LOTR stuff. Always have my head in a Tolkien book, LOTR game or something. I don't think I have any Star Wars stuff other than the movies.

oh well, strange is the ways of the Force

I thought I might find her here.

    Yeah.

    Right.
Turns out I found Alandy on ebay, two of them in fact. Hence a change of username to reflect the two best civvy Landies ever made that I happen to own.

Mine comes from my old Navy days, Shorty was my nickname ( was so short my Lithgow 303 was taller than me at recruit school), the 943 was my old Navy laundry number. My sig pic is me, back in the good old days of "cowboy" speedway racing.
