Governments are well aware of this but are so wary of the WEL - Womens Electoral Lobby - aka their voting power that they will not address the issue of women assaulting men in a domestic situation..

The big problem in the really serious cases is often the person does not know what is going on between their own ears until they snap. Sure the warning signs are almost always there, but without anyone trained to recognise them you can’t help. In many cases they don’t believe there is a problem until it happens, and then it’s “what have I done”.

He was our Jim’s mowing contractor. Often stopped for a chat.

Yeah, I’ve met a lot of gronks who are just violent towards women because they’re bastards with no moral compass. I’ve also met (not just him) seemingly normal blokes who’ve had underlying unidentified issues.

It’s not black and white and unless you’ve had exposure to mental illness it can be challenging to understand. Actually, even with that exposure it can be pretty trying.
