I now have a confirmed booking for a first vaccination in a fortnight. After three weeks trying. Seems almost impossible west of the sandstone curtain!

Haha. It doesn't hurt so much when you don't know any better.

Just got the flu jab. That thing still circulates albeit at a reduced level these days apparently. Got both the jab and the flu last year as the flu variant circulating wasn't in the vax.

Now I have a two week stand-down before I am eligible for the covid jab if my name is called...

It'd be my luck to get the call for next week then have to go to the back of the line...

"The Sandstone Curtain" is a great name for a barrier that is probably much more significant than most people care to imagine.
    Cheers, Billy.

As are those who've driven heavy vehicles west from Sydney Town.

To those on the Eastern side the Western side exist mainly as myth or in Ians case, legend. There is a second sandstone Curtain that barely anyone thinks beyond. In that beyond is just water and a few wandering lost soles.
    Cheers, Billy.

Break shoes I imagine and treads as well. They save the best decent for last there, on both sides and both roads. Even if you don't see it, hear it or feel it, you can always smell it.
    Cheers, Billy.
