I'm not sure if reading the statistics properly but it looks like international airline arrivals and departures of non citizens have more travel freedom than our own citizens inside Australia.

At the 7 day rolling average of 115.4k doses, it will take 10 more months to administer 45m doses
The first stage should be no Bull**** Scomo, just get the Vax you ordered or was that Scotch Mist?
Get them on the shelves & lets see them & then you can start to sound organised.
All the above should have been planned months ago not when the brown stuff hits the spinny thing.
What a bloody shower this has turned out to be.:soapbox:
aint that the truth
one of my girls works as a trainee nurse and visits several hospitals, in surgical wards
cannot get the jab till september she is told at multiple places including those hospitals
she finally talked a local doctor into giving her the jab today after many phone calls to different places
what an utter shamoozle
If she is an employee of Qld health, she should have been on a priority list. Her boss should have sorted it.
September! Jesus wept. Qld Health or not, staff in that position all over Australia should have been at, or very near the top of the Priority List. They certainly would be in my world. But then, I am a Virgo.[bighmmm]
Who will take care of the Carers if they go down with this thing? They should have been one of the first to be Vax'd.
Certainly not the Actors, Celebrities, Politicians & ex Labor Prime Ministers & other self appointed important personalities who have already had their Phizers when no one else could.
Nah not them, they'll be too busy making millions/squillions from their "Blockbusters in SEQ & then buggering off at the end of it..
:soapbox:
I agree, but what happened was it was declared all those that came into contact with covid patients were declared 1A and were to be vaccinated. The young girl was a concierge, and not meant to be in contact with covid patients. It was unfortunate she had her desk just outside the covid ward when the delta variant came to town. That's ok. But it's sloppy management to allow an unvaccinated worker any where near the covid ward. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Now, the QLD government is asking all 5 covid hospitals to consider vaccinating all workers in their hospital. Do they have enough vaccines? probably not.
All these celebrities, pollies et al, in particular the big cheese PM should have said "it is not my turn, get the vulnerable and front line done first, I will wait". Just like the rest of us have had to. The PM (no matter which party is in government, just to make this non-political) isn't that important. He's like a mafia/crime boss, there is always someone waiting in the wings ready to fill his shoes, should anything happen to him/her.:whistling:
And why didn't the PM do his 14 days quarantine in some roach infested hotel with crap food and ****ty internet like everyone else??? :rulez: No one else is allowed to quarantine at home!!
Ok, except high wealth individuals.
And celebrities.
And other Politicians.
And those who have influence over political parties.
Geez, what hope is there for Joe Public. :wallbash:
