I’m sure there are numerous Defence Force medical experts itching to help, but the aim seems to be faux war footing rather than medical excellence.

Thread is getting more repetitive and more political. Love the criticisms in hindsight and from those without the weight of the responsibility of those running the country.

Let me change that. Not just criticism (that is fine) but incessant criticism...nothing is good enough...nothing is done right. Perhaps a reminder is due. By far we have done the best (along with NZ) of any country in the world and will continue to do so.

I think the Army Lt Gen was brought in to the vaccine roll-out because he is an expert in logistics, just like the Vic Covid commander Jerome Weimar is a Dept of Transport bureaucrat.

Have a feeling you're a LOT closer than we'd want....

- The whole thing has a stench permeating every aspect.
Two areas:-- Total lack of interest in ASAP therapies when interventions do the most good, at the START., and this morphs into "treatments" for If / When the bug strikes.

--- There's none, officially.

The extreme being Queensland, where a GP / Doctor faces JAIL and/or massive $$$ for prescribing Ivermectin for COVID. And few dare use HCQ in case they're associated with Trump. Or upset a princess at TGA.
Bottom line, If / when you get sick, hibernate at home - till you can't breathe.... go to hospital, into ICU and..... likely die.

The other is a religious fervour that our Saviour will do it for us, The Jabs. ("Vaccines") - Enough said about them !
The WORRY is.... a rabid drive to get the stuff INTO every person, regardless of Risk. Which brings us to Forcible Jabbing. And Informed consent, aka 'Nuremberg', where we hanged Nazis for doing medical and drug experiments on UNwilling victims.

Normally I'd agree 100% - without reservation. The Darwin Breeze was a great example of military talented Leadership which held the wreckage together.

That was about getting the best out of people, whereas This looks like a campaign to get the worst INTO people. We didn't miss Impressive 'fruited' Uniform projecting Authority and POWER.
