There is a metric used in the British National Health Service (NHS) called "QALY" or Quality adjusted life-year, and there is no better explanation of this than this link. A Health Economic perspective on COVID-19 | Dr. Malcolm Kendrick

I'll just compare our current, terrifying, UNACCEPTABLE, Beer-Bug death score...with male suicide numbers for 2018. SIX blokes per day succeeded.
Between 2015/2016, ambulances transporte over 70 UNsuccessful patients per day. Men’s mental health: Male suicide rates in Australia on the rise

I'll be ready to reach out for help if my mind takes me too far down a Dark Road, and for the current annoyance, and evading 'Lock Down Patrols', I'll keep up with Zinc, Vitamin C and D. And quercetain if I can't get my GP to prescribe the drug de jour... Plaquenil , you know, the one Doctors are self-prescribing by the box-load....
(I'ts got a few nasty surprises, so don't try it without your Doctor's oversight.)
But it's cheaper for me - Aged Pensioner - than paying normal retail for Quercetin... both are 'zinc ionophores' ie, help the cells to suck up the zinc. [bigwhistle]
