You do have to admire Mark McGowan - he has achieved what every Sandgroper has dreamt of by splitting WA off from the rest of the country and in doing so showing that the States have the ultimate power.

The FG definition of a hotspot released today is interesting:
Metropolitan - average of 10 cases a day over 3 days
Regional - 3 a day average over 3 days
So under that all of Vic and I think Sydney would currently be hotspots, but not regional NSW
Qld has refused to accept the definition and others are discussing it.
Its not really open to WA though is it? because their premier won't let those who leave back in.....and Tasmania regards Brisbane as a hotspot requiring 2 weeks quarantine if you've been there.Quote:
