NSW is still going fine, numbers are single digit thanks to what appears to be a well setup contact tracing system but it will be interesting to see economic figures down the track.
What is becoming boring is the constant parochialism by certain politicians.
We're a Commonwealth, the constant breaking things down into tribalism doesn't help any of us long term.
That old saying we're stronger together than divided comes to mind but of course that doesn't suit their short term political ambitions. [emoji849]
535 Int arrivals a week into WA is allowed , must Q/tine for 14 days . Airport Open . case load is low because of the regional lockdowns early on . Could have had 60,000 at the grand final at the Optus Stadium had the afl used there head , but prefer a Rugby league state [bigsmile1] .
Qld is open to everywhere except NSW, Vic and the ACT. Planes are flying in every day. 900 NSW people were accepted into Qld for medical treatment last week. The Qld economy is doing well, except for international tourists.
AnastaciaP and Dr Young say they want to see NSW and Vic get their acts together with 2 x 14 days of zero community transmission in NSW and Vic before relaxing border restrictions.
So, really, the answer is simple. NSW and Vic have to suppress the virus and keep it suppressed. Stop blaming Qld, WA or the other states and territories. Just get the job done!
