I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Bastard ain't it?
But you got the footy grand final so I suppose that should stop the tears.
I am forming the impression that all Govts will have lost so much support by the end of this business with their shenanigans over borders & permits for this & that etc etc, that confidence & trust in the buggers will take a very very long time to return..
Yes even Scomo who I had great faith in, & Co, & even our SA Premier & their merry band of incompetents although SA has done well so far. Didja know our bloke flew up to Brissie a couple of weekends ago to attend the graduation of his son. Reckons it was all above board & it was permissible so that was ok then, roight? Had I wanted the same?, I wonder eh?
He was bloody lucky to be able to do so because when it was my turn to attend our Gd's Law graduation I just happened to be in hospital & couldn't. That wasn't a Govt decision but hey. Just sayin'.![]()
And &,&,&, what happened to the "We are all in this together" crap?
if I hear one more commentator talk about coming out of the "Other Side" I'll throw something heavy & probably explosive through my Smart Telly, & that is another thing, if it is so ****ing smart why cannot it censor these ****wits when they open their gobs & spout ****e? At least drop the Audio Volume.
What bloody other side pray tell, it's not a Tunnel or a valley or a room etc? Another figment of some wacko's imagination.
Just sayin'.![]()
Early on in thus crisis, people who wanted to make the point that anyone could catch the virus used to say, "We are all in the same boat."
However, given the difference in outcomes for some older, poorer or less healthy people, it would be more accurate to say, "We are all in the same storm, but some of us are more seaworthy boats than others."

CHRIST GAV, don't tell me C-19 has morphed into Leprosy? They should be easy to get rid of though being pretty 'armless & certainly not much chop in a Brawl.
Apparently they can't kick very well either. It's the toes you see, they fall off.
At least they are not yet patrolling the streets with Tumbrils yelling out, "Bring out your dead. Bring out your dead"![]()
All good here in Victoria.

As every media outlet is reporting outside of WA and Qld.
Politics.
Watch the Qld borders magically start to reopen after the 31/10.
And WA has an election next March.
It pays to look tough politically.
Border closures are like Law and Order pronouncements before an election.
Play the fear card, gain votes.
