This is interesting. The Melbourne hotel quarantine workers did not get infected in the hotels. 
They were infected in the community and went to work before showing symptoms. So that kills the assumptions they got it from returned travellers because of lax infection controls. Not true. They got it in the community. 
The story lists 9 hotel workers, mostly from Spotless, but also a police officer and others. 
That would be consistent with aged care workers also getting infected in the community and taking the virus into aged care homes,  where 665 elderly died in Victoria. 
So that has obvious implications for the hotel quarantine inquiry, where people have tried to blame certain people, which I won't spell out because this isn't the Current Affairs section.
