Actually, i usually go to Mitre 10,as it is a smaller owner operated store, and the staff are very helpful.
The guy that runs it has been around hardwares all his life(probably 60) so he knows what to keep in stock, and what not to keep in stock,so they usually have what you want.
I only went to Bunnings cos it was close to Supercheap.
And actually i much prefer Autobarn, but Supercheap it was today.
FoR those that know this area, there is also a huge Mitre 10 at Beenleigh as well.
Maybe its only QLD where there are still a few.
Not necessarily. Have got one Medium size one 7 km away. Seems a bit disorganised but one of the part time ladies seems to be a whizz with Plumbing stock & assistance. More helpful that most of the blokes actually. [bigsad]
Another large one down the hill on the Ring Route. Pretty friendly staff. So still a force to be reckoned with.
Bunnings move into the areas should have given them a hard kick up the date but as usually happens, businesses have forewarning of bigger businesses moving in but do they lift their game ? Bollocks they do.
Sadly, their loss.
There won't be a court case. It has been sorted.
