Why would you want/need to "shoot the messenger" ??[bigwhistle]
It is Not Tombei's fault that things are the way they are[biggrin]
"Sugar Coating" the problems or worse blaming everyone else for what is going on isn't going to do a bloody thing to solve it.
People need to get off their arses and forge their own destiny (Which usually requires hard work and sacrifice) instead of demanding that everyone else Has to do the work for them.
Relying on welfare and other government handouts, not making any effort to find work, bribing mining companies and not sending your kids or yourself to school is NOT the way forward to make your own AND your communities standard of living better.
It IS what it IS Guys and you can play the "Blame Game" all day long But it wont FIX anything and the Only way out of this is by hard yakka and sacrifice like everyone else has done Because Nobody owes anyone else a living in this world.
Whoa, whoa Troutie,. I didn't blame Mike as it happened. My comment was made in jest & Ian knows what I mean (even if he cares to remember) & I'm sure it will be taken in the manner it was given. It is a private joke ( well it is to me, & I am sure to Ian as well) that stems from an editorial ****up I unwittingly made a few years ago & got "Gaol" time on here for a few months.[bigrolf]
I'm a big lad & I got over it quickly. [happycry]
Just calm down, I know you are angry at the way all this crap is turning out, so am I. Very.
MODS, I was looking for the 'Tin Hat Thread'... but in my post-coma state can't seem to find it. - This link deserves a mention there, though there is merit in appearing here in "Covid-19"
Why is the CoronaVirus Death Rate in Germany and everywhere else falling so rapidly? – BolenReport
(Hypothesis:- With more and more 'testing' and obviously yielding either negative, or symptomless 'positive', the pool is diluted thus making a fixed number of deaths a diminishing % of said pool...a pool that is growing larger with more tests.)
Couple of points. The RT- PCR inventor DID say it was unsuitable for 'diagnostics' for any disease, (and that's old news) - but it's been hi-jacked by authorities desperate for a useable test. NOW.
The 'empty hospital' story is also established, and not limited to that one only. Logically, elective surgeries have been canned, to make room for a flood of infected. They're still waiting. - Not that I'm complaining as my recent visit to an ER was around a 90 seconds wait....instead of the usual 90 minutes.[biggrin][biggrin][biggrin]
As for the Prof. Ferguson mentioned.... well, give the man his due, he's a survivor, would make Bear Grylls look amateurish. - Same one who produced the terrifying figures that lead to HUGE numbers of livestock being slaughterd... - before they were exposed or at risk of exposure - during the UK foot & Mouth outbreak.
Never mind the farmers who went bankrupt, the rural suicide rate went ballistic.
