My son goes to Epping Boys HS, the one that was closed on Friday due to a student with COVID-19. He was away at school camp from the Wed morning and did not arrive back until mid afternoon Fri. We were advised by the school that even so he needed to self isolate until further notice, which we received around 7PM Saturday saying that the school would be open Monday and ~70 students & staff had been classified as having 'close contact' to the original student and they would need to do the full 14 days.
We live ~700M from EBHS and the same distance from the Baptist Care centre, basically in the centre of the 'hot zone' that is Macquarie Park. We have toilet paper, food and Netflix and are intending to "Keep calm and carry on", if we end up having to do the full 14 days at some stage or one of us tests positive then we will deal with it, no point worrying about something that may [or in our case probably will] happen.
Can anyone tell me where the hotspots are in victoria please?
I only read victoria, is it only melbourne or as there been cases in country victoria i cant find.
Lots of doctors in the comments

My two oldest grandchildren are going to Japan in a week and a half. I probably would not go, but they are looking forward to it and perhaps more to the point, paid for it months ago - and they are legally adults. They will be back a week before Easter. The TAFE they are going to has told them they are self quarantining for two weeks when they get back, and the younger kids schools told their father today that they don't want them back for two weeks after the girls get back, in other words, for the rest of the term.
So their father is bringing the two younger ones up here the day before they arrive back. So I will have them for three weeks instead of the planned two.
Steve you know full well what would happen.
Sheilas & Blokes getting very ****ed & embarrassing themselves & our country.
Sheilas dropping their pants at the first ****ed opportunity.
Much vomiting all over the shop.
Actually, it sounds like a good day out.[bigrolf]

and I've just heard on Ch 2 that people coming to the GP not exhibiting symptoms, will not be checked??!!....
How in the hell are they to know they aren't carriers at that point, but will probably leave a huge mess behind them?
Temp checks sound a bit questionable.
As they come off their mode of transport, they should all be sent down a Cattle Ramp into quarantine. 14 days are ok? Onyer bike sunshine.
To buggery with the lame excuses Oz has to act a lot tougher than they are currently but then it is all about the almighty $$$$ I suppose, & to some that is paramount.
I just hope they know what they are doing.
