There seems to so little known about 5G & it's effects from what I can see & what is known, is that it could be distorted by big business, Govts etc, for their own ends & not just in Oz but world wide.
It needs a thorough investigation but who to do it is the big problem?. An "Independent" body? Yeah right. Chinese? :Rolling::Rolling:

Its interesting that a couple of weeks ago Premier Andrews was being criticised for being too cautious about re-opening, but now some of the same people are criticising him for not being restrictive enough. Poor bloke can't win.

All that is needed to know is that the RF spectrum used by 5G is mostly identical to that used by existing phone services. In addition to this, some services use millimetre wavelengths, and elementary knowledge of wave propagation theory tells us that this will have less physiological effect than will the frequencies that are already in use, and have been for decades. The fuss about physiological effects of 5G are a complete beatup.
But then so, to a large extent is the telecom companies advertising of super fast speeds. These will never be available except in the most densely populate city centres, for most of us, there will be at best a modest boost in performance - although it needs to be pointed out that the performance you get in practice has very little to do with the technology involved, and is mostly dependent on how many others are on the same tower at that particular time, and what they are using it for.
