And overall, Victoria has done just as well as other States
IF this is the case then why is it that parts of Melbourne are still having big problems with community transmissions of this virus and the other cities in Aus don't[bigwhistle]
I suggest we wait until it is over and let history decide what worked and what didn't. No one scores points in a Pandemic, so each of us should just get on with we can do as individuals to keep the collective safe. Whether that means hand hygiene , or isolating at home , getting tested, whatever. How we are judged in history will be determined on how we act now. Something missing in some parts of Australian society seems to be self discipline, we all know what has to be done, just get on with it. And the Federal Government must bring back the program to educate migrants in English, so all Australians are on the same page. Just my thoughts, not made to ruffle any feathers. :spudnikconfounded:

Remember Newmarch House, the other aged care home and the Ruby Princess in Sydney? NSW, particularly Sydney, has still had almost half the total national deaths. Its great the situation has since settled there.
Sydney and Melbourne are our two biggest citues, so its to be expected they would dominate the figures.
You lot in WA have done great, as have the other states and territories, which is why the border controls will be coming down in July.
I remember when we got off the Spirit of Tasmania in March our attitude was to get out of Melbourne immediately and avoid Sydney like the plague.
