So what’s to stop Victorian travellers trundling through NSW,for a couple of days,then coming into Qld,and not going into quarantine ?

On a lighter note today in moscow last weekend relatve goes to the pharmacy to buy masks as she ran out. .. answer we can only sell to people with masks..... the assistant behind the screen and the other 12 of them in the pharmacy were not waering masks...[bigwhistle]

Just wondering. Has there been an increase in the quantity of Bank Holdups since the mask wearing crap has been going on?

Can one still ignore the signs in the bank about Removing Helmets etc Have they added Masks?

If one was a Robber, one could be coining it in by wearing a Medi Mask while tooled up? Security cameras would show a couple of dozen people wearing the same brand of Mask.

The border checkpoints are being strengthened, not removed.
Everyone, including Queenslanders, will have to be granted an entry pass online, after providing certain information. That includes a declaration that the person has not been to Melbourne within 14 days. Checks will continue to be done (people have been fined). Lying will cop a $4000 fine.
Note that other states and territories, including SA, are also blocking Victorian entry.

According to the news the manning of the borders are being abandoned.
Do you have a link to your claim that the physical checkpoints are being strengthened?

I got no issue with the borders being opened.....>6M people live in Vic, how many active cases??

Either way

I crossed the border (southbound so wasn’t stopped) at stanthorpe yesterday, there were two police, two army and one other dude stopping traffic heading north. I assume this will stay in place while Vic restriction are in place.

The whole system is full of holes.

We still have an A pass from weeks ago,nothing to stop us going across the border and getting waved back through tomorrow,or whenever.

The system they have didn't work,nor will another,that is if there is one.

The number heading north over the last two weeks have been increasing.
A lot more bodies around Byron today than I saw three weeks ago
